Notarization of Special Power of Attorney From Bank at Philippine Consulate General Dubai - 2023


Requirement:

Confirmed Appointment 

2 copies of Special Power of Attorney provided by the bank.

2 copies of applicant's Passport.

Personal appearance of Filipino principal/s or signatories on the document. 



Step 1. Secure an appointment

Secure an appointment at the website of Philippine Consulate General (PCG). Link is provided below.

Step 2. Confirmation of appointment.

Print the confirmation of appointment with QR code sent to you via email.


Step 3. Information Counter

On the date of appointment, present your confirmed appointment to the officer at the information counter & secure a token number to be provided by the officer. 

On a side note, a voter's registration form will also be provided by the officer if you are not yet registered. This is not related to the notarization so don't be stressed out accomplishing it. You can fill it up after your appointment.

Step 4. Notarial Section

Proceed to the notarial section & wait for your token number to be called and proceed to corresponding window..


Step 5. Submission of requirement

Submit all requirement to the Consular Officer. Once confirmed, the officer will then ask the signatories  to sign over their names in the SPA .


Step 6. Cashier

Proceed to the cashier & pay AED 100.


Step 7. Releasing

As mentioned in the PCG website, documents will be released after 4 working days. 

In our case however, we needed to wait a bit longer due to the Holy Week. My appointment was April 5 and the release of document was set to April 14. 


Step 8. Courier (Optional)

There is an option to have your document delivered to your home or office via courier (prime express) at the cost of Aed 30 for local delivery & Aed 110 for International delivery. 

Shipment will be delivered in 2 to 3 working days for local delivery and 1 to 2 weeks for International delivery upon release from PCG (Philippine Consulate General - Dubai).

 We chose to have it delivered locally & we received the document on April 15, 1 day after the release date.

How to get Certified True Copy of PRC Documents

Hi guys! Herewith are the steps for getting PRC documents' certified true copies. In my case, I need them for the DFA Authentication Certificate or commonly known as Red Ribbon.  The entire process took me for less than an hour.
